About the workshops
All these courses are using watercolour and are for beginners and those looking for inspiration and to improve their painting techniques, there is no need to worry that you won't be able to 'keep up'. Always the main aim is to enjoy your weekend and return home feeling that you have learned more. After 25 years of teaching and painting I have found that people who paint are a lot of fun and enjoy each others company so don't be nervous about coming on your own, you will be sure to meet friendly and like minded people there.
The Lincolnshire Gallery is stocked with the most wonderful selection of materials so there is also no need to worry if you forget something vital. Classes are limited to just 15 people so there is plenty of time to have individual demonstrations and your questions answered. A list of bed and breakfasts is provided on previous students recommendations if you wish to stay overnight, and Spalding is a pretty and interesting town to look round. Bring a packed lunch, tea coffee and biscuits are provided
When and where are they?
Times: 10.30am to 3.30am each day, held at the Lincolnshire Gallery, Millfield Nursery, Spalding Common, Spalding, Lincs. PE11 3JZ (see map). Courses cost £75 / weekend with a £35 deposit payable on confirmation of booking and £40 to be paid on the day.
